Logistics and supply chain – Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver – Level 2
We offer a 12 month course with apprentices coming to your nearest centre on a monthly basis for a driver preparedness day. These days cover the knowledge and training that relates to driving and includes subject such as Drivers Hours, Digital Tachographs, Safe Cyclist Behaviour and Vehicle Checks.
On completion of the apprenticeship they will have achieved their Category C driving licence, a Level 2 Certificate in Driving Goods Vehicles, a Level 2 Award in Employee Rights and Responsibilities in the Logistics Industry and, if necessary, a Functional Skills qualification in English and/or maths. There is also options to include Customer Service and Health and Safety awards to increase the learning experience of the apprentice.
