HGV Training in Herefordshire

HGVT is proud to be a significant provider of commercial driver training in the UK. We train both individual and company drivers, providing high-quality combined with convenience and affordability. If you need any kind of commercial driver training, you can find it at one of our facilities.

Learning to drive a truck in Herefordshire is a difficult decision to take as it is submitting to a complete life transformation. Here at the HGV Training Centre we know how much support an individual needs to go through these alterations. We help our students from starting one of our courses to actually finding a job. Learners do not need to go anywhere else for HGV training in Herefordshire when they choose us to deliver their training course.

Introductions

We support students from the very beginning by introducing them to the world of professional driving. Most people do not know which course they need, or anything about the different licences, until they get in touch with us. When they call us, our professional customer support unit guides them through the various courses we have on offer. We have the full range of HGV truck training courses, but learners must know exactly which course is for them and which course will fulfil their ambitions.

Through the Course

During the course itself, we still offer support. This is the most fragile time of the process for people because they have taken the plunge filled with high expectations. If they do not have access to the help they need all those expectations evaporate. To help students through such a difficult time we utilise a support system consisting of multiple layers. These layers include:

  1. Tutors. Obviously, this is the main calling station for any immediate help. Since we operate a system of private tuition learners spend the most time with their tutors. They are caring, compassionate, and always willing to listen and help other people.
  2. Learning co-ordinators take command of the whole learning process. They act as the main calling point for dealing with examinations and education. Generally, these figures help organise the whole process.
  3. The customer support team normally acts as the introduction to the course, but they come into play at all levels. Many of these operatives were ex-truckers themselves and know the learning process intimately.

After the Exams

Unlike other training providers, we help our clients even after they become fully qualified. Just because they have their HGV licences, does not mean to say the process is over. It does not end until they are in a place where they can get the experience to move on with their new careers. In other words, they need help with finding a job.

Luckily, HGV training in Herefordshire is the perfect place to be because people are entering an industry where there are up to 40,000 vacancies for professional drivers, according to Nationwide. Our main priority is getting our clients into one of these vacancies.

We are not an employer, nor do we act as an affiliate for other employers, we are merely a place that provides employment leads. Our website consists of over 10,000 job leads. This is how we support our students in finding a job. For any additional advice on filling out a CV and preparing for interviews, do not hesitate to get in touch with our customer support team.
