Increased HGV Demand a Harbinger of a Better Economy?

Individuals currently receiving HGV training in Flintshire, Chester, and Wrexham will be pleased to know that the demand for licensed drivers in those areas is exceptionally high right now. According to a report from News North Wales, recruiters have seen an increase in demand of about 30% over the same time last year.

Police Escort Leads HGVs Through Essex

Cyclists See View from Lorry

HGV training in London took on a new meaning today (20 June, 2013) thanks to the Exchanging Places program sponsored by Croydon’s Safer Transport Engagement Team (STT). The team set up a lorry outside of London’s Norbury fire station and encouraged cyclists to climb into the cab.

Gasrec Looks to Expand Biofuel Network

Man Caught Stealing Fuel as HGV Driver Slept

Twenty-four year-old Ramunas Bruzaitis has likely never taken an LGV class in his life. So why was the young man found at the side of the road, standing right next to a lorry at 4:40 AM? According to the Grantham Journal, he was stealing fuel from the vehicle while the driver slept.
